The Valencia Cathedral is a 13^th century cathedral that in itself is an interesting Valencia attraction, but in side this cathedral is the Santo Caliz, which is said to be the Holy Grail.  This piece is the prized possession of the cathedral and is part of the many other historical and religious pieces inside the cathedral's museum.  The Santo Caliz is a medieval piece with a base and stem and a 6 ½ inch high cup and is decorated in jewels and made of both gold and alabaster.  It truly is a remarkable piece that is a must see if you visit Valencia.

Other Things to See and Do in Valencia

Throughout the heart of town you will get to see various gothic architecture by Santiago Calatrava.  Valencia is also where you can walk along the old Turia River and a state of the art Arts and Science Centre.  The arts centre is one of the most futuristic and awe inspiring structures you will see in all of Spain.  It really does look like something sent straight from the future and is home to a variety of arts and sciences exhibits and activities.
