Dolphins, Tapa, and an Eye: Summers in Valencia

If you're planning a trip to Spain this summer, then you can make it complete by visiting Valencia. And while you're at the Valencia Aquarium, you won't want to miss its restaurant, which boasts of a unique structure and tasty food.  

Meanwhile, if you'd rather spend your summer in Valencia outdoors, then take some time to visit the Old Quarter. It's like taking a time machine back to the Moorish days of the country. The Old Quarter includes several attractive medieval churches, attractive museums, and magnificent markets. If you want to enjoy some modern conveniences, then you can stop by one of the several cafes, restaurants, and bars located in the Old Quarter. They boast of foods such as tapa and fresh seafood. You can also rent a horse and carriage at the Plaza de la Reina, and enjoy the city from a different perspective.  

One of the top sites of the Old Quarter is the Plaza de Santa Catalina. This local landmark serves as the entrance to several activities in the Old Quarter. That includes the Cathedral of Valencia, the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados, La Lonja, the Valencian Institute of Modern Art, and Mercado Central.
