Ever dreamed of a holiday in a sun-drenched Spanish villa with the whole family or a group of friends? La Roqueta is your dream come true- a lovely 3 bedroom villa set on a property of one acre with gardens and your own private 10 meter swimming pool! Up to six guests can enjoy a taste of true Spanish living in this gorgeous holiday home, away from the crowds but not too far from the action by car!
The house is completely walled in for maximum security and there is room to park at least six vehicles. Inside is fully air- conditioned (with heating for winter) and has three separate bedrooms- one double and two with two single beds. Each bedroom has sunny windows, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe storage. The bathroom is spacious and complete with shower over bathtub, toilet and washbasin.
The sun-drenched lounge area has a couch, coffee table, television with satellite channels, and CD player. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with kitchenware, oven, microwave, four burner gas stove top, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is a separate dining area with a table and six chairs for a cosy meal at home with your travel companions, or dine alfresco on the outdoor patio with chairs and table.
Extra conveniences include ironing equipment, a washing machine and hairdryer. All towels and bed linen are provided for you.
La Roqueta is located mid way between Valencia and Alicante, about 30kms from the coast, in the historic town of Ontinyent. It’s a typical Spanish town with typical Spanish prices. There are dozens of restaurants that offer a 3 course “menu del dia” for as little as 5 euros. Or you can enjoy a decent locally brewed red wine for as little as 1 euro per litre!
There are excellent amenities in this town including shops, local parks, banks, pharmacies and even a hospital. There’s a friendly sense of community here also, which you can experience at the fresh food and flea markets every Monday, or while strolling around town.
There are also plenty of activities allowing you to explore the beautiful scenery of this area including hiking, cycling, horse riding and hot air ballooning to name a few. Of course you can spend the whole time exploring original Spanish villages and sampling Southern Spanish tapas, or sitting by the pool and perfecting your Sangria recipe as well!
